The 2016 Samsung Premier League continues tonight, Wednesday 25 May, with Round 6 action at Netball Central in Sydney Olympic Park.

Sutherland Stingrays and Central Coast Heart will take to the Show Court and will be featured on BarTV Sports as the Live Streaming matches of the round; the Opens will be up first at 6:55pm, followed by the Under 20s at 8:35pm.

As always if you can’t make it out to Netball Central to see all the action in person, you can still tune to see the live stream in the Live Games tab (above).

The opening five rounds have been greatly contested with some tight finishes and wonderful comebacks. Here is how things are shaping up so far this season in both divisions…

The Manly Warringah Sapphires have been in superb form this season and continued it again last week to go into tonight yet to drop a game. The Sapphires are being hotly pursued by UTS St George Sparks in second, the Stingrays in third and ERNA Hawks in fourth; Central Coast (5th), Panthers (6th), North Shore (7th) and GWS Fury (8th) round out the current standings.

GWS Fury are they are leading the pack in the Under 20s competition. The Westerners have maintained their superior goal percentage to lead the Panthers – in second place – with both teams on eight points after five rounds.

The Sutherland Stingrays (3rd) and UTS St George Sparks (4th) are hot on their heels with six points each, while North Shore United (5th) and Manly Warringah Sapphires (6th) are just behind them on four points. ERNA Hawks (7th) and Central Coast Heart (8th) bring up the foot of the table, but with one win apiece they are still in contention for finals.
